Established Melbourne-based residential developer Glenvill and Gold Coast based QNY Group have announced their new joint construction company, Glen Q Constructions, will build their new Broadbeach apartment development,&nbsp;Sunset Residences.

QNY Group and Glenvill joined forces to develop the 21 Broadbeach Boulevard site, in what will be Glenvill's first foray into the Gold Coast apartment market.

They recently launched the 16-level tower, which has just&nbsp;11 full-floor beach residences, one half-floor residence, and a tri-level penthouse with a private rooftop terrace.

They're now set to jointly undertake construction of the project, designed by Contreras Earl Architecture and with interiors by Plus Architecture.

After receiving an unprecedented level of enquiry during the pre-release period over the Christmas holidays, Sunset Residences, the luxury Broadbeach Boulevard apartment tower being developed by joint venture partners Glenvill and QNY Group, has officially launched.

Gold Coast-based QNY Group and veteran Melbourne-based developer Glenvill&nbsp;have received sign off for a boutique apartment project on one of the most revered spots in the whole of Broadbeach.

The first project in the joint venture has become more boutique since its initial plans were submitted to the Gold Coast City Council back in May.

Initially the plans for were 21 apartments across 24 levels at 21 Broadbeach Boulevard. Now there will be just 12 full floor apartments, and a two-level beach house, across 15 levels.

The location of the tower, almost on the corner of Armrick Avenue, which straddles the Broadbeach Bowls Club and Broadbeach Park, and Broadbeach Boulevard, means it can take in uninterrupted views of the beach, capturing a 240-360 degree view corridor from Surfers Paradise to Coolangatta, as well as the hinterland.

The local Gold Coast developer QNY Group, in a joint venture with the Melbourne-based Glenvill, has submitted plans for a residential development in the heart of Broadbeach.

QNY Group, led by Anthony Quinn, has teamed up with Glenvill, who are behind the development, design and build of the newly created Melbourne suburb, Yarrabend - set to be the world’s most liveable suburb by 2025.

They'll be creating a luxury owner-occupier tower, in line with Quinn's other joint venture Gold Coast project, La Mer at Main Beach.

He and Glenvill have had Contreras Earl Architects draw up plans for a 24-level tower with just 21 apartments, 19 whole floors and two two-level penthouses.

Quinn secured the 511 sqm site at 21 Broadbeach Boulevard, on the corner of Armrick Avenue, for $10.1 million late last year.

“The location presented an opportunity to create a residential landmark that coexists with the natural environment, nestled within the leafy Broadbeach Park quarter and drawing from the unique context, a quiet green nook in the heart of bustling Broadbeach.

“The tower uses its vertical structure to articulate the elegant design which emulates a tree trunk that is seamlessly connected to each floor slab which at the same time expresses an elegant organic petal shape in plan, inspired by the undulating detailed profile of Norfolk pine branches from the adjacent Broadbeach Park.

Residential amenity will exist on both the ground floor and rooftop space, with health and wellbeing at the forefront of the building’s design.

Since it was dubbed to be the world&#39;s most liveable suburb three years ago, the developer Glenvill, doubled down on factors like&nbsp;communities being optimised through technology and design, supporting convenience, wellbeing, connectedness, collaboration and sustainability.

Glenvill partnered with the renowned&nbsp;teams at DKO Architecture, Multiple, Technē Architecture + Interior Design to create YarraBend,&nbsp;complete with four parks,&nbsp;a state of the art health and wellness centre, complete with an indoor spa, yoga and spin rooms with virtual reality and real life classes, massage rooms, Technogym equipment and an indoor pool.

They also focused on community initiatives like a gallery space, art installations and an annual art prize for local artists valued at $50,000 over five years.

There is also an indoor and&nbsp;outdoor cinema bookable via the YarraBend app, as well as many a rooftop terrace, home to&nbsp;lounges, barbeque facilities and more.

Another facility available to all residents&nbsp;across the six precincts; Mills, Parkview, Artisan, Heritage, River Quarter and Outer Circle, is the WorkLab, an innovative co-working space convenient&nbsp;especially for those who dread&nbsp;commuting.

Located a short stroll from anywhere in YarraBend, residents can book a space any time at one of the multiple workstations, the meeting room or lounge area.

Dubbed as the world&rsquo;s first Tesla Town, the suburb will also feature Telsa Powerwalls in select residences to reduce energy costs and offer electric car charging points.

YarraBend will also play home to an artisanal food district, curated by one of Australia&rsquo;s top chefs, Scott Pickett, boasting popular restaurants, cafes and bars.

Cubic House, part of the reincarnation of the former Alphington Paper Mill site, is one of a number of residential components of YarraBend.

The contemporary apartment building of 89 apartments, designed by&nbsp;DKO&nbsp;and&nbsp;Technē Architecture, is slated for completion in 2024, toward the final stages of the whole of YarraBend.

Cubic House will comprise primarily one and two-bedroom apartments. Its completion will be toward the final stages of YarraBend.
