Hi all,
I was recently introduced to this site by a forum member.

We had a long conversation about design, streetscapes and local construction. Topics we were both passionate about and she recommended making this post.

So there is a factory conversion in Lambeth st about to take place, and the locals are loving the look and getting behind the project, both on the grapevine and with off the plans purchases.

I will re-edit this to add a picture when I can

Thanks Mark.

What you have added isn't the final design, I tried to imbed a picture I have, but only managed to achieve a picture icon that worked as a link.

I have a rendering that doesn't have the advertising on it.

There we go, they are keeping as much of the existing brick facade as they can.
The Architect is using different materials and colors to achieve a great look.

The marriage of old and new can be a difficult process, particularly when the existing structure has intrinsic heritage value. In previous times Fitzroy's 237 Napier Street served as the home of furniture manufacturer C.F. Rojo and Sons. Taking root during 1887, Christobel Rojo oversaw operations though over time the site would become home to furniture manufacturer Thonet.

Cbus Property's office development for Medibank at 720 Bourke Street in Docklands recently became the first Australian existing property to receive a WELL Certification, Gold Shell and Core rating. The WELL rating goes beyond sustainable building features with a greater focus on the health and well-being of a building's occupants.
