Hi all,
I was recently introduced to this site by a forum member.

We had a long conversation about design, streetscapes and local construction. Topics we were both passionate about and she recommended making this post.

So there is a factory conversion in Lambeth st about to take place, and the locals are loving the look and getting behind the project, both on the grapevine and with off the plans purchases.

I will re-edit this to add a picture when I can

Thanks Mark.

What you have added isn't the final design, I tried to imbed a picture I have, but only managed to achieve a picture icon that worked as a link.

I have a rendering that doesn't have the advertising on it.

There we go, they are keeping as much of the existing brick facade as they can.
The Architect is using different materials and colors to achieve a great look.

Melbourne’s architectural landscape is a wonderful juxtaposition of modern and Victorian architecture. Although the CBD has been peppered with many skyscrapers, its historical structures have won Melbourne the title of “Australia’s most European city”. Perhaps the most striking example of this juxtaposition between old and new is the Coops Shot...

108 Leicester Street is a collection of eight multi-level Fitzroy townhouses that have been designed to respond to the changing face of multi-residential living in Melbourne. The proposed new Melbourne Conservatorium of Music (MCM) on Sturt Street is shaping to become much more than a cutting edge venue. While the project has been given coverage to date across a range of mediums, very little has been said regarding the project playing an integral part in the...
