Location is a crucial factor for property buyers, especially in Sydney, where commuting during peak traffic hours can be a nightmare. However, the presence of key public transport links, particularly train stations, has become a major consideration for homebuyers seeking convenient travel options within the city.

Sydney's transport infrastructure received a significant boost with the timely completion of the Metro North West Line, Australia's first fully-automated driverless passenger railway. This $8.3 billion project was delivered $1 billion under budget and saw 13 metro stations created and 4,000 new commuter car parking spaces.

Expanding from the city's northwest, the metro rail project is now extending beneath Sydney Harbour, encompassing new underground city stations and extending further to Bankstown in the southwest. By 2024, Sydney will have a 66-kilometre standalone metro railway system with 31 metro railway stations.

With such promising infrastructure developments on the horizon, we have compiled a list of some of Sydney's best apartments located within close proximity to these essential transport links, making commuting a breeze.
