Summer Hill's latest apartment development, Amici, has proven a hit with both first home buyers and investors following its recent launch.

Amici Summer Hill, at 18 McGill Street, will comprise 57 apartments in total, a mix of studio, one, two, three and four-bedroom units.

Over 50 per cent of the project was sold on launch, with a handful of two and three-bedroom apartments still available. The two-bedders are priced from $1,095,000 and the three-bedders from $1.49 million.

Not only have the smaller apartments been snapped up quickly, but there has been great interest from executive couples and young families seeking value for money, resulting in a strong demand for the three-bedroom units.

The Colliers Residential team is managing the sales campaign and has already received extremely positive feedback from buyers.

“The attention to detail is incredible, the level of finish and inclusion of the natural stone really elevates these apartments to another level. The thoughtful design of the indoor/outdoor kitchen servery leading on to the semi-enclosed balcony also provides another point of difference and elevates apartment living” Colliers Director of Project Marketing Ian Bennett said.

“A serious lack of existing stock combined with the quality of off-the-plan apartments is attracting new buyers, which can be seen in the success we’ve already had. We’ve even seen one buyer purchase three apartments, one for themselves and two for their children."

”The apartments will feature open-plan kitchens with natural stone bench tops and splash backs providing a feel of everyday luxury. The chic stone bathrooms will have bronze tap ware, accent lighting and a timeless colour palette to create a home of understated style and comfort. The brick façade will be complemented by native greenery providing a calming and inviting presence," Bennett added.

The building has been designed with community at the forefront, with generous allocations for green spaces for residents on every floor, as well as a large communal rooftop garden.

On the ground level there is connectivity to the surrounds, with a café opening on to a pocket park with a walkway to the light rail station less than 50 meters away, as well as the 5.8-kilometre GreenWay that links to the Bay Run.

Amici will also sit close to some of Sydney’s most prestigious schools, major shopping centres and business destinations, making it ideal for all buyer types.

The Yard 120C, Rick Timperi, Studio Johnston Architects and landscape architects, McGregor Coxall have embarked on the new development venture together, collaborating to bring the Amici vision to life.

Timperi’s fourth-generation family business specialises in restoration and conservation of Sydney’s most prestigious heritage buildings and includes the GPO at No1 Martin Place.
