Boutique luxury developer builder MADE Property are launching Corsa Mortlake, their absolute waterfront development on Majors Bay in Sydney Harbour, this weekend.

The Mortlake development has just 20 three-bedroom apartments designed by SJB, all of which capture uninterrupted panoramic water views. One of the unique selling points of the project is the private 230metre marina berth, which accommodates boats from 12 to 20 metres in length.

Corsa Mortlake is located on Mortlake Point's last remaining foreshore site.

SJB also handled the interiors of Corsa Mortlake. SJB’s Design Director Adam Haddow said the project feels as though it has grown from the ground up.

"Engulfed in generous landscaping, each space has a view toward the natural. It was paramount to ensure that each space had a stunning outlook, so much so that each apartment has a unique layout to maximise views and space.

"Achieving 100% cross ventilation, the spaces feel light and airy, with connection to the waterfront informing every design decision. Light masonry tones reference the Parramatta foreshore, with subtle textures and details replicating the natural landscape.”

Leading marina industry consultant, Brett Bolton of Coriolis Marine, said it is well known that Sydney Harbour currently has a significant shortage of marina berths in comparison to boating demand, especially for larger-sized boats.  This will only get tighter as the industry continues to grow and there are limited opportunities in the Harbour to build new or expand existing marinas.

‘It’s extraordinarily rare to buy an off the plan waterfront apartment with the opportunity to acquire a strata-titled marina berth," Bolton says.

"This is what makes the offering at Corsa Mortlake highly exclusive."

The marina has been designed to the latest Australian Standard and incorporates extra wide walkway, three phase power, water, CCTV, and a coffee kiosk.

As part of the development, the boardwalk which fronts the project will be extended as part of the Canada Bay Council Foreshore Access Strategy, which aims to improve and increase access to the foreshore areas around Canada Bay.

MADE Property Development Manager Todd Moody said Corsa Mortlake will offer a truly exceptional boutique waterfront development ideal for local downsizers looking for the ultimate lifestyle investment potentially with the added convenience of mooring their boat at their residential address.

The project is expected to be popular with local downsizers and empty nesters.
