Piper, the luxury apartment project in Point Piper, Australia's most affluent suburb, marks the first collaboration between prolific Sydney Eastern Suburbs developer Fortis and Dare Property Group.

Nestled in the harbourside suburb, Piper occupies an expansive site on the northern side of New South Head Road, enveloping the leafy Wunulla Road. The prime location allows residents to enjoy the best of both worlds, combining urban convenience with the tranquility of the bays and beaches nearby.

The 15-apartment development represents a seamless integration of architecture, interior design, and landscape. With a strong emphasis on privacy and luxury, Piper exudes an atmosphere reminiscent of a private estate, with a mix of one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments across the four-level building.

Fortis and Dare enlisted the expertise of the Miriam Fanning-led Mim Design to bring their vision for Piper to life, in collaboration with acclaimed landscape architects, Dangar Barin Smith.

The result is a collection of cohesive floorplans that adapt to the daily rhythms of life, with the open layouts and soaring ceilings creating a sense of spaciousness and allowing natural light to flood the interiors.

Piper's interiors boast a wealth of intricate details and luxurious finishes. Accents of iron bronze and platinum punctuate the space, while bespoke interior lighting adds a touch of opulence.

Miriam Fanning said Piper is authentic, sculptural and enduring.

"Piper’s interiors are filled with intricacies and luxury. The rich design palette places a deep focus on the polished and matte, the light and dark, the coarse and soft, heralding the mineralised and lustrous qualities hidden within Piper’s natural forms,” Fanning said.

The outdoor palette of Piper creates a sense of spaciousness and privacy, while strategically positioned cascading gardens and terraces maximise the enjoyment of the refreshing north-easterly sea breezes.

Dangar Barin Smith Founder, Will Danger, said the outdoor concept for Piper was all about creating a sense of scale and an enduring landscape.

"The structural forms are visible through layers of vegetation, yet punctuated by unique and varied specimens that enhance light and shadow, texture and greenery, while appearing as if they have here for generations,” Dangar said.

“Outdoors, each residence is wrapped in lush, textured landscaping, some using sandstone and exotic planting to form romantic grottos, as sophisticated as they are unexpected.”

Piper is slated for completion in mid-2024.
