Mantaray Marina and Residences on the Gold Coast marks a significant milestone as Australia's inaugural superyacht-centric living, leisure, and lifestyle precinct.

Situated on the renowned Spit Peninsula in Main Beach, the visionary mixed-use waterfront venture secures its position as the only integrated residential project approved for this sought-after location.

Joint venture partners Gordon Corp, led by Tim Gordon, and The Bruce Mathieson Group, the family business of the pub baron Bruce Mathieson, secured the greenfield site, nearly 10,000 sqm at 503 Sea World Drive, through a 120-year lease agreement with the Department of State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure, and Planning.

The project is the first of its kind on the Gold Coast, if not Australia, with private amenities including The Mantaray Club – an exclusive members-only on-water lounge in the heart of the superyacht marina, a health and wellness club, resort-style pool, and access to the private grounds of Rivermead Estate in the Gold Coast Hinterland.

The top-tier marina features 67 dedicated superyacht berths with 24/7 marina concierge and security, plus exclusive access to Mantaray Club and Australia’s first Riva lounge and bar.

Designed to ‘Platinum’ Gold Anchor status, the superyacht marina will provide long and short-term berth leasing and offer year-round deepwater access with immediate passage to the Pacific Ocean via the Gold Coast Seaway.

Only 24 luxury waterfront residences are part of the huge project, which will also include resort facilities, an exclusive Mantaray Health Club, and ground-floor retail and dining experiences.

The Rothelowman-designed two, three and four-bedroom apartments, villas, and penthouses, are arranged in a U-shape and revolve around the resort-style amenity on the ground level, including two lap pools surrounded in lush tropical landscaping.

The 250 sqm Mantaray Health Club offers premium gym and training facilities, hot and cold-water plunge pools, yoga, sauna, and steam rooms. Residents will also benefit from a dedicated concierge service offering personalised assistance, reinforced by 24/7 onsite security personnel and a state-of-the-art CCTV system.

An activated retail plaza and high street promenade will link The Mantaray Marina and Residences to its surroundings and provide access to leading restaurants and cafes.

Two and three-bedroom residences start from $4.1 million, four-bedroom roof terrace residences start from $11.1 million, and the penthouse collection starts from $14.4 million.

The Mantaray Marina and Residences is scheduled for completion by November 2025.
