While industry takes on a different meaning now than in the 1900s, the landscape of Brunswick has remained true to its industrial heritage.

It's necessary for developers to consider the local context when putting together plans for new buildings and that's what local developers SQ Property has achieved with their latest project, Archer.

Following on from their success at 8 Lygon Street Brunswick East, SQ are again delivering a successful design response via their engagement of award-winning SJB Architects for initial design and conceptual work as well as Metaxas Architects for detailed documentation.

This collaboration along with the engagement of local interior design studio Bergman & Co has ensured a timeless development outcome that fits within its context and pays tribute to its irreplaceable heritage.

Just 58 apartments are on offer in Archer Brunswick, a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments. The apartments will sit above a thriving dining precinct on the street level.

A number of the apartments will feature unobstructed views to the city, with arched windows framing unique sight lines that extend all the way to Melbourne's skyline.

Each apartment is appointed with top-of-the-line finishes, fixtures, and fittings that exude sophistication and practicality, with European appliances, custom-crafted handles and gunmetal accents featured in the kitchens, while the living areas and hallways are adorned with wide Saddle or Ash floorboards.

The spacious and light-filled bedrooms feature wool carpets, with the bathrooms including textured wood laminate vanities, sleek feature lighting, architectural tapware, back to wall toilets and fluted shower screens.

Archer Brunswick will also offer a range of modest communal spaces, providing residents with the chance to interact and socialise with one another and their visitors. The areas will feature barbecue facilities, seating areas and landscaped gardens.

Located in one of Melbourne's most charismatic suburbs at the junction of Parkville and Carlton North, Archer is perfectly positioned to offer residents the best of both worlds.

In just minutes residents will be able to access the CBD, while still revelling in the charm of Brunswick which maintains a vibrant suburban charm, filled with retailers, restaurants, cafes and bars.

Realco is handling the marketing and sales of the apartments, which range in price from $480,000 for a one-bedder through to $1.3 million for a three-bedroom apartment.

Construction is well underway, with completion slated for September 2023.
