AVJennings is one of the forefront residential developers in the country.

The ASX-listed company create large masterplanned communities, whether it be in the house and land space, or apartment and townhouse market.

They're soon to finish their Waterline Place, Williamstown community which they first started back in 2016. That will home over 520 residences when completed in the next few years

Now that's coming to a close, they're onto their next project, and it's one of their most central they've developed to date.

In collaboration with Homes Victoria, AV Jennings are creating Harvest Square in the inner-ring Melbourne suburb Brunswick West. They'll be developing a new community, with interconnected apartments and townhomes, as well as community gardens with open spaces, play areas, and chess and ping pong tables.

AV Jennings recently released the first stage of Harvest Square, a collection of one, two and three-bedroom apartments designed by SJB, as well as a selection of two and three-bedroom townhouses.

Sustainability is a prominent feature of Harvest Square, aligning with Green Star standards to ensure minimal environmental impact while enhancing residents' quality of life.

Harvest Square is seeking to achieve a 5-star Green Star rating, a minimum 7-star NatHERs rating, and Gold and Silver Liveable Housing Design ratings for all its buildings.

This environmentally-conscious community is fully electric and features an 18-metre-wide green corridor with productive plantings for the enjoyment of all residents.

Another distinctive feature of Harvest Square development is its commitment to accessibility. At least five per cent of the new social housing homes will be easy to access for Victorians with disabilities.

Harvest Square includes provisions for drop-off areas, accessible paths, lifts, and parking facilities, in addition to the design of some of the homes, with kitchens, bathrooms and storage set to also be very accessible.

Situated just six kilometres from Melbourne's CBD, Brunswick West enjoys excellent accessibility through an array of public transport options and proximity to major roads like the CityLink Freeway.

The suburb is renowned for its vibrant community atmosphere, attracting a mix of young professionals, families, and students.

Construction team Arc3 has been tasked with building Harvest Square, which is slated for completion in December 2024.
