Celebrated developers, AVJennings have recently taken home top honours, winning the ‘Residential Development - Australia’ category at the International Property Awards, for The Empress apartments at Waterline Place.

The vision for Waterline Place is to be ‘a village within a village’ - a vision which is quickly coming to life, designed by some of Australia’s leading architects.

The AVJennings community offers a range of apartments, townhomes and penthouse residences, with the community set to eventually be home to 14 residential buildings, with some 510 residences, all brought together by a series of active and pedestrian-friendly streets and laneways.

The Empress Apartments were launched back in 2019, comprising a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, designed by internationally-renowned architect Elenberg Fraser.

A wave of local owner-occupiers and downsizers snapped up the majority of the apartments, which was predominately sold out prior to completion back in mid 2021.

The latest Waterline Place offering has been coined the Merchant Apartments, which is set to deliver another 125 apartments to the community, across two seven-storey buildings.

Designed in collaboration with Elenberg Fraser, the Merchant Apartments encompass learning from previous releases, combining a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, along with an exclusive collection of Sky Homes on the upper levels of the project, offering sweeping views of the surrounding bay and city skyline.

The ASX-listed developers will also incorporate boutique retail offerings across the ground floor, as well as a number of communal spaces, emblazoned with the work of local artists.

Topping out the Merchant Apartments is the expansive rooftop terrace, featuring multiple seating zones, a communal garden and a children’s play space, with completion of the building slated for mid 2024.
