Prominent developer Bensons has launched its latest Melbourne project, Ten Cecil, just 11 apartments in the heart of Prahran.

Starting from $1,999,000, the 11-level tower at 10-16 Cecil Place has been inspired by the unique cosmopolitan suburb, with renowned architecture firm Fender Katsalidis designing the facade of the building.

SORA Interior Design have handled the interiors of the apartments, which each featuring Miele appliances, stone benchtops, European Oak flooring, and even gas fireplaces by ESCEA.

There are 10 two and three-bedroom apartments across the building, which will be part of the wider Anchor & Cecil development which is expected to be fully launched next year. There's also one four-bedroom apartment, which has an $8 million price tag.

Common areas will feature their own curated art collection, incorporating 22 pieces by prominent Australasian artists such as David Bromley, Freddie Timms, Mark Schaller, and Jasper Knight. Bensons has a long association with the art world. Their chairman Elias Jreissati is an avid art collector and believes art is a vital form of communication and expression and belongs to a community.

The discreet entrance from the quiet Cecil Place street front immediately greets residents with a private lobby clad in marble and ceramic feature walls. 

Prahran delights with its mix of boho charm, innovative foodie scene and high street fashion, while sitting just five kilometres from Melbourne’s CBD.

Home to Australia’s oldest food market, Prahran Market is only a stroll away, while the spiritual hub of the suburb, Greville Street provides an array of cafes, eateries and retailers.
