Situated in one of Melbourne's most coveted bayside locations, 448 Brighton is the latest to join the ranks of the sought-after suburb.

The development is a rare find in Brighton, with the 20-apartment project new and ready to move into now.

Sunkin brought together architects SJB and landscape architect Jack Merlo to collaborate on the design, which delivers a rare sense of space, style and serenity, taking cues from the surrounding landscape.

The house-sized floorplans tap into the owner-occupier and downsizer market, with the apartments spanning from 111 sqm through to an expansive 693 sqm.

SJB's Tristan Wong said 448 Brighton was made in a combination of a really strong confident building, paired with finely crafted elements.

From the timber floors to the sculptural natural marble stone benchtops, every detail has been thoughtfully considered to evoke a level of artistry.

"You've got the stone upper levels and then you've got this fine metal inlay, so i think its a really well crafted building that balances a protective outer shell with really finely detailed architectural elements," Wong said.

"It was about creating an amazing oasis so we have rooftop green spaces as well as the ground, with it all about that garden environment, with lots of greenery and an amazing outlook for the residents."

The homes features double-glazed windows for privacy and quiet living, coupled with large windows and sliding glass doors which seamlessly merge indoor and outdoor living.

"We really hope they get that sense of joy and understanding they're coming home to a quality residence and you feel like you come home to this tranquil environment," Wong added.

"Entering the residences you get those incredible views again of the gardens and the seaside that's so close."

Luxurious fittings and fixtures have been incorporated throughout, with industry-leading kitchen appliances by Gaggenau and Bora are complemented by Astra Walker eco brass finish tapware.

The grand penthouses at 448 Brighton are the crowning jewels, with the exclusive residences boasting expansive, landscaped rooftops that command bayside and city views. Owners of these residences have access to a private plunge pool, barbecue facilities, and al fresco dining and lounge spaces.

Landscape architect Jack Merlo said that whilst they've got different disciplines both with architecture, interiors and landscape, they had a shared vision and an approach to design when designing 448 Brighton.

"We like clean lines and a more paired back approach, but we really compliment one another," Merlo said.

"The apartments have all been designed to have their primary living areas interfacing with the courtyards and garden areas."

"You pretty much get a seamless connection between the internal living spaces and the outdoor courtyards. It's really critical the garden isn't only aesthetically pleasing but provides a really functional space that people can use, and I think we've successfully achieved that here at 448 Brighton."
