ASX-listed developer Cedar Woods has welcomed the completion of its fourth apartment building in Williams Landing, Lincoln Apartments, in Melbourne’s fast-growing west.

The Lincoln Apartments delivers 69 one and two-bedroom apartments over five levels, answering demand for first home buyers and local investors looking to enter the property market.

Located at 38 Clark Street, the project also offers a suite of communal amenities, including a rooftop garden with barbecue facilities, along with a gym, complete with cardio equipment and weights.

Cedar Woods Chief Operating Officer, Patrick Archer said The Lincoln Apartments were designed with amenity front of mind, delivering both quality and convenience to residents.

“We know that a sense of community is a top priority for many first-home buyers, and we have fostered this sense of community by delivering inviting common areas within the building,” he said.

Designed by renowned Australian architecture practice dko Architecture, Lincoln Apartments is comprised of a series of bold forms that anchor its presence in the heart of the town centre at the corner of Clark Street and Tonkin Way.

In a bid to attract couples and families to the community, each of the apartments incorporate clever storage solutions and generous layouts to enhance and maximise the flexibility and utility of the residences.

Abundant glazing features throughout, allowing natural light to fill living and bedroom spaces, while balconies extend the sense of space within each apartment, celebrating indoor-outdoor living.

Williams Landing is one of the fastest growing suburbs in the City of Wyndham and is identified as a Major Activity Centre within the Plan Melbourne planning strategy, having the potential to accommodate a third of future white-collar jobs in the Wyndham area according to a MacroPlan Dimasi report.

With over 9,000 residences, the local community also benefits from a number of local business that have found their home in the area, along with sporting clubs and other community organisations which contribute to the burgeoning community.

“Williams Landing continues to grow year on year, and we’re seeing consistent demand for the area with a vacancy rate of just 1.2 per cent in June,” said Archer.

The completion of Lincoln Apartments brings the Williams Landing Town Centre residential capacity to 268 apartment dwellings, complementing existing buildings Newtown, Oxford, and Lancaster Apartments.

Residents are still available in the Waterline Place Merchant Apartments, along with a selection of townhomes in the Firefly collection.

Designed by Elenberg Fraser, Merchant comprises a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, along with a collection of exclusive Sky Homes on the upper levels that take in the surrounding sweeping views of the bay and city skyline.

Crowning the building is the rooftop terrace, complete with multiple seating zones, a communal garden and children's play space.

Completion of Merchant Apartments is expected by mid-2024, signalling the final opportunity to buy into the masterplanned community.

Established in Perth in 1987, Cedar Woods has grown to become one of the country’s leading developers.

From urban subdivisions, medium to high-density apartments and townhomes, to retail and commercial developments, the group has built up a mixed portfolio across their time, with the Victorian portfolio currently including the complementary Williams Landing Shopping Centre, as well as projects, St.A, St Albans, Jackson Green, Clayton South, Mason Quarter, Wollert, 88 Leveson, North Melbourne, Clara Place, and Fraser Rise.
