<div>"The Kerridge House + Apartment represents an important chapter in the life of an intuitive Australian architect," says Marcus Lloyd-Jones, the listing agent from Modern House. </div>
<div>There's even a small piece of Kerridge history – the coach rail from her breakthrough 1995 Taylor Square warehouse project, repurposed as a handrail at the <a href="https://www.modernhouse.co/listings/kerridge-house-apartment/" target="_blank">243 Rainbow Street property</a>.</div>

<div>The 1995 Taylor Square, Darlinghurst project saw her secure a merit recommendation in the state's major architectural awards conducted by the Institute of Architects. An earlier project was the tiny Potts Point eatery, La Buvette.</div>

<div>There was also a late 1980s block of four apartments overlooking Fairy Bower at Manly. But mostly deluxe domestic commissions since Kerridge, who graduated from university in 1984.</div>

<div>By the late 1990s Virginia Kerridge's works prompted the editor of Architecture Australia, Davina Jackson, to describe her as "the leading woman private practitioner in Sydney."</div>

<div>She has since been regularly recognised in awards including as inaugural winner of the Houses Awards 2011 Australian House of the Year. Her clients have included broadcaster Merrick Watts in the inner west and at Kingscliff on the far north coast for Harvey Norman managing director Katie Page.</div>

Elise Strachan, the cupcake queen lists in Queensland

<p>The derelict property, once a boarding house, has become so over grown with vegetation that the listing agent suggests it resembles the famed Cambodian temple where tree roots dominate the environment. Adriano Zumbo lists former longtime Balmain home

<p>West Coast Eagles assistant coach Sam Mitchell and wife Lyndall are selling their Cottesloe home.</p>
<p>It was the home they bought when they moved from Melbourne where Mitchell had been the captain of the Hawks.</p>
<p>He spent a year as a player at the Eagles and made the move to the box at the start of this season.</p>
<p>The home cost them $2.15 million, which might look like a savvy purchase. It was just $50,000 more than it fetched in 2013.</p>
<p>Built in 2007, the four bedroom, three bathroom home is set in 490 square metres of low-maintenance gardens which features a swimming pool and alfresco.</p>
<p>The Mitchell's retain their former Hawthorn home, leasing it for $1,800 a week upon their move.</p>
<p>The family home, once a feature on <em>Better Homes and Gardens</em>, has a home office and gas heated swimming pool. </p>
