The Victorian establishment Baillieu family have listed Tongy Station, at Cassilis near Merriwa in northern NSW.
It has been listed for the first time in almost 100 years, with expectations <a href="https://www.realestate.com.au/property-mixed+farming-nsw-cassilis-7758509" target="_blank">the 4637-hectare station</a> that breeds Hereford and Merino stock could fetch more than $20 million.
Located on the banks of Talbragar River, the property features a Victorian standstone homestead amid manicured gardens. 
Tongy dates to 1825, when former convict Richard Fitzgerald was granted freehold title of the property by Governor Bourke for his services to the colony through agricultural management. 
Colliers International's Richard Royle is handling the sale with offers due September 14.  
The Baillieu family bought the property in 1923, The Land reported.
It was secured from Fitzgerald's five grand daughters. 
This Australian Dictionary of Biography described Richard Fitzgerald (1772-1840), convict, public servant and settler, as <a href="https://adb.anu.edu.au/biography/fitzgerald-richard-2048" target="_blank">one of the most remarkable men to settle in early New South Wales</a>.

Tongy Station, Merriwa offered with $20 million plus hopes

The former Conde Nast managing director and founder of Vogue Magazine, Bernard Leser and wife Barbara have secured the sale of their Palm Beach retreat.
It fetched $3.15 million through Raine &amp; Horne agent David Eden.
The property on <a href="https://www.domain.com.au/sold/75-pacific-road-palm-beach-nsw-2108-2011919272" target="_blank">75 Pacific Road</a> was bought back in 1994 by the Elizabeth Bay couple for $1.1 million from the then retired diplomat Sir Robert Cotton. 
Conde Nast headhunted Leser, now 90, in 1958 to launch the Australian edition of Vogue. During his tenure with the publishing company Leser was appointed managing director of Conde Nast UK, president of Conde Nast USA and chairman and managing director of Conde Nast Asia Pacific.

Vogue veteran Bernard Leser sells Palm Beach retreat

A vast property, described as a ‘car lover’s dream’, has come onto the market in Ringwood East. 
Located on Angus Avenue, the six-bedroom home sits on a 5,000 sqm block and features a purpose built 13-car garage. 
Seller, Barry Misurek, says he has loved cars since he was young and couldn’t give up the opportunity to build a garage good enough to store his collection. 
“The garage was built under the footprint of the house and it was built at a huge expense in order to provide an environment for a workshop and also classic cars,” Mr Misurek said.
