Sales in Voyager, the apartment tower in Mirvac's Yarra's Edge precinct in Melbourne, have taken off in 2021.

The first half of 2021 saw 20 per cent more sales in the recently completed building compared to the same time last year, with owner-occupiers accounting for 78 percent of purchasers over the period.

Mirvac General Manager for Residential Victoria, Elysa Anderson, said buyers were drawn to the luxury apartments, exceptional amenity and beautiful waterfront living Yarra’s Edge has to offer.

"Downsizers from regional and interstate locations are looking for a base closer to their families, while experienced local apartment dwellers are seizing the opportunity to upgrade their home and lifestyle at an inner-city location,” Anderson said.

The 130-metre Voyager tower features interiors and architecture by the award-winning Mirvac Design team, including a striking bronzed curved façade that reflects the changing lights of the sun as it moves on its daily journey, creating a gateway to Melbourne from the Bolte Bridge.

Comprising 310 apartments including artist and home-office apartments, luxury residences and Sky Residences, Voyager currently has a limited number of one, two and three-bedroom residences available, starting from $601,500.

Voyager residents have access to an inspiring art gallery in the striking lobby, along with an exclusive residents-only rooftop space on level 43, the first of its kind in the precinct.

The rooftop includes three distinct zones – a social barbecue area with indoor and outdoor dining, a lawn for contemplative practice such as yoga, and an open-air lounge with fire pit for relaxing and socialising. It also features a bar, theatre, and karaoke room.

Mirvac’s unique end-to-end in-house capabilities have allowed us to effectively navigate the challenges associated with the COVID-19 construction restrictions to complete this next chapter in the development of Yarra’s Edge on schedule," Anderson noted.

"Our customer-first approach enabled us to remain flexible, with a number of purchasers choosing to amalgamate apartments to form larger residences, and we are pleased to be welcoming the first residents into this incredible precinct with some requesting to settle early.”

Voyager is walking distance to state-of-the-art health and fitness facilities available at the nearby Wharf Club, which boasts a pool, spa, steam room, gym, fitness facilities and café, all housed underneath and grass roof that flows into Wharf’s Landing Park – a 1,500 sqm green open space.

A 1,000 sqm retail hub is also proposed for the precinct, which is anticipated to service both the local community and the broader Fishermans Bend and Docklands catchment area.

Over 3000 residents already call Yarra's Edge home.
