What makes a new apartment project stand out?

Many say location is everything, and Mirvac's latest apartment development, Prince & Parade, has one of the best locations in Melbourne's inner ring.

It's just on the fringe of the liveliness and convenience of Brunswick, while being positioned closer to the nearby Carlton North and Princes Hill, directly opposite the 39-hectare Princes Park.

We recently had a wander around the area and wrapped up some of the best spots around the project.

Prince & Paradevides the ultimate in nature, convenience and connectivity.

The iconic Princes Park is not only home to the Carlton Football Club but also offers a range of leisure activities for residents to enjoy, including the Princes Park Bowls Club, Royal Park Tennis Club, and the nine-hole Royal Park Golf Course.

There's a number of local hospitality venues like the auropean-style wine bar WasFlower, and Italian Ciao Mamma!, as well as Old Palm Liquor, Mamma's Boy Trattoria, and Brunswick Wine Shop, ensuring there's something to please every palate. And for those seeking a diverse array of international cuisines, Little Andorra, Kent Hotel, Florian, La Luna Bistro, Matteo's Restaurant, Capitano, and Di Stasio Carlton offer a number of options.

Art enthusiasts will appreciate the creative collections at Beinart Gallery and the immersive experience at 1280, while the nearby Brunswick Baths provide a refreshing escape for residents.

The nearby Jewell and Royal Park Train Stations ensure that the city and its surroundings are easily accessible, granting residents the freedom to explore Melbourne's vibrant neighbourhoods effortlessly. Buses and trams are also an integral part of the area, with numerous transport links connecting Prince & Paradeidents to the greater Melbourne region.

The building, designed by Bates Smart in collaboration with Mirvac Design and in landscaping by Jack Merlo, comprises 166 one, two three and four-bedroom apartments.

The striking project is targeting the owner-occupier, particularly local downsizers who currently live in houses or terraces and are starting to see equity build back up in their homes. It's also expected to be popular with affluent young professionals.
